Free Weekly Dinner Menus
Our Ad-supported Dinner Menus are free weekly menu plans with 5 nights of dinner menus including recipes and grocery list. Although new recipes are periodically introduced, including some dishes you might not otherwise be inclined to try, the menus are based on food your family will actually eat - meat and potatoes, casseroles, soups, and the like. Try our new Sample Weekly Menu before subscribing (although the menus are free and you can unsubscribe at any time, so you may prefer to just subscribe now)! You will be hooked after a week of delicious meals and a freezer full of quick and easy ingredients to use later.
| Each week a 5 day dinner menu is posted with recipes and grocery lists included. Menus are based on the Busy Cooks Pyramid and include cooking for the freezer and planned leftovers as well as using quick and easy recipes and tools like slow cookers and bread machines. Menus generally will feed a family of 4 with leftovers or a family of 6 without leftovers. If your children are teenage boys, however, all bets are off!

Menus are based on keeping a stocked pantry and freezer. Each week we add to our "Freezer Investments" account by cooking individual ingredients in bulk. If we are browning a pound of ground beef for tacos, we may brown 5 pounds and freeze the rest. You will find that routine use of this method saves hours in the long run because it doesn't take much more time to brown several pounds of beef than it does to brown one pound, saving that preparation time the next time you need to use browned ground beef. The same method can be used with boiling chicken, sauteing peppers and onions, cooking rice, and more.
Please take a moment to browse the Weekly menus links above. They cover many of the questions you may have about the menus.
