Having your menu and shopping list has saved me so much
time and money, has my family eating things we'd never tried before, and
keeps us talking at the table rather than rushing through a restaurant.
You've taken all the stress out of the kitchen for me, and put the fun back
in!

The moms behind Menus4Moms
Mary Ann Kelley started Menus4Moms as a section of TheHomeSchoolMom.com in 2005. She was responsible for all aspects of the site, including menu creation and website design, until March of 2007 when Chrissy Hinton took over menu planning. Chrissy works from home in Virginia where she lives with her husband and three children. In her past life, Chrissy has been a wedding planner and a wellness coordinator.
Passing the responsibility of menu planning to Chrissy allowed Mary Ann to focus on technical details, website content, and marketing. In September 2007, Mary Ann presented a series of menu planning workshops to the homeschool moms on the Homeschool on the Seas Bermuda cruise. One of the participants had this to say:
Your talks were terrific... I came away so inspired that I spent the weekend planning and cooking! Thanks to your talks, my brain is operating differently: It's using spare moments for either planning what I can cook, or actually pre-cooking or pre-chopping, to make it easier later. That will give me bigger stretches of time either to be with the kids, or work on my own work, when I'd otherwise be fussing around trying to find something to make for dinner.
Mary Ann is a graduate of Virginia Tech and has worked as a buyer for a department store as well as the business manager for an interior design studio before moving to Japan with her husband, who is now retired from the USMC. Mary Ann is now self-employed as the owner of TheHomeSchoolMom.com and Menus4Moms.com and is enjoying working from home in Virginia, where she lives with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, and two guinea pigs.
In 2008, Heather Anderson launched the newest service on the site, menus to compliment the contents of food boxes from Angel Food Ministries™. Heather is a single mom living in California with her daughter and approximately 200 chickens. Heather is currently studying to be an Early Intervention Specialist.
Mary Ann Kelley is available for interviews and can provide client and advertiser contacts for additional content if needed. Contact Mary Ann at maryann@menus4moms.com for more information.
